Austlift Micron Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL)
The Austlift Micron Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL) is a compact, lightweight fall arrest device designed to replace traditional fixed-length energy-absorbing lanyards. Unlike conventional shock-absorbing lanyards, the Micron automatically retracts excess webbing, keeping the lifeline under constant tension to minimise free-fall distance and reduce the forces generated during a fall.
Its compact design provides unrestricted movement, making it ideal for work in confined spaces, low-clearance applications, elevated work platforms, and situations where maximum mobility is required. The durable, lightweight polymer housing reduces user fatigue during extended periods of use while providing excellent protection in demanding industrial environments.
The Austlift Micron SRL is approved for both vertical (overhead) and horizontal (foot-level) anchorage applications, including use over sharp edges (R > 0.5 mm). Rated for Fall Factor 2 foot-level applications, it provides exceptional versatility for users working close to leading edges when installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
